We love the antique feel of hand burnished leather and we also love the rich texture of suede. Combining the two gives us the best of both worlds and in our recently introduced 'McLaren' design we feel we have come up with a belt design that is sleek, stylish and versatile. To make such a belt is not easy, with great precision required to perforate the edge detail before layering it on top of the suede base and then slowly hand stitching the inner and outer edges, avoiding the perforations along the way! Once all this is done the belt is hand polished with wax to bring forth rich tonality in the leather edging. The contrast of rich conker toned suede and deep navy blue makes this belt eminently versatile, one that can be used for occasions when you need either navy or tan and a great way to gently break up a single tone outfit. We have finished this belt off with the weighty feel of our satin finish roller style buckle as we feel this adds yet another layer of subtle but distinctive style to the belt design.
